Option + n / then n = ñ

Option + Shift + ? = ¿

Option + ! = ¡

2) Click on SETTINGS

3) Click on CONTROL PANEL

4) Click on KEYBOARD

5) Click on LANGUAGE

6) Click on PROPERTIES

7) Select UNITED STATES -  INTERNATIONAL (You might be prompted to insert the Windows 95 CD or diskette)

8) Click OK

Then you should be able to produce Spanish characters following the instructions below:

NOTE:
( ' = apostrophe or single quotation mark)
(Alt = Right hand side Alt Key)

' + vowel (a, e, i, o, u ) = á, é, í, ó, ú
Shift + ~ + n = ñ
Alt + ? = ¿
Alt + ! = ¡

(B) You can also use the following table if you cannot change the settings to UNITED STATES - INTERNATIONAL.  The following instructions  work for both Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 in the default setting (UNITED STATES 101):

To produce: á, é, í, ó, ú, ý
PRESS: Á, É, Í, Ó, Ú, Ý CTRL+' (APOSTROPHE), the letter

To produce: ã, ñ, õ
PRESS: Ã, Ñ, Õ CTRL+SHIFT+~ (TILDE), the letter

To produce: ¿  PRESS: ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+?

To produce ¡  PRESS: ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+!
