Final Portfolio:

1. Complete final clean copy for the following:

  1. Essay – 對大衛的看法
  2. Podcast  播客文章感想
  3. Essay – 美國文化的代表
  4. Poetry Writing – 你的創作詩
  5. Essay – 談古詩和現代詩的感想

2.  Choose from the above one piece of your writing to hand write; scan it into a JPG file and turn in a digitized copy;

3.  Attach original/old drafts;

4.  Turn in updated files in MS WORD for all the 5 assignments above, and also the following:

  1. PPT presentation if any for Essay on
    American culture;
  2. Poetry Reading Project

5.  Complete Test #4;

6.  Complete vLog filming project

·         Prepare for in-class vLog presentation:

Dan, Kimberly, Andrea, Leechew, Roy




Video Podcast (vLog) Project: choose one of your works and present it as a commentator in a taped video blog.

 

·         You can have notes but try not to simply read from your notes;

·         Pay attention to the phrasing of your sentences as well as your pronunciation;

·         You will be filmed and the video will be uploaded on the SWAP server.

·         Please sign up in class to reserve at least one 60-min session for the filming. Longer sessions or multiple sessions can be scheduled.

·         Some of you may want to double-up and help each other for the filming.

 

 

Filming will be done in one of the small rooms adjunct to the student lab. It is private, and has the camera mounted and connected to the computer. The room is reserved for these three days ONLY for our class project.

Individual appointment at the Media Center (Library Basement) for the filming of the Video Podcast (vLog) Project

 

Monday 5/5 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Media Center)
Tuesday 5/6 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday 5/7 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

 

You will be assisted by the Media staff to learn how to operate the hardware and software for filming, saving clips and rendering.
