1.  Prepare four points to summarize and/or comment on the article;

2.  Your four points can be in a narrative essay form or simply bulleted list; about 100-120 characters and include at least 15 vocabulary words selected from Topic 4.1 reading.

Video Project: (to be completed between 5/4-5/15)

1. Select an essay you wrote from the following:

a. Topic #1 Essay on China’s Economy

b. Topic #2 Cover Letter

c. Topic #3 Reaction Essay

2. Practice reading; know correct pronunciation and Pinyin.

3. Prepare to film.

4. Call Media Desk 253-879-3963 to set up an appointment (1 hour or longer) in Library Basement 034 C.

5.  The room 034C is set up with the digital camcorder connected right to the computer via fire wire.

6. Ask for assistance from the Media Desk if needed; save your work in a folder titled Chinese303video on the C:\ drive.

7. You should name your file using your Chinese name, i.e.  for Liz, her file should be <weiningzhi.wmv>.
