Chinese 303 Daily Class Schedule


CHIN 303: ADVANCED ORAL EXPRESSIONS
This course aims focuses on oral fluency in Chinese through class discussions utilizing topics in the textbook and other online resources
and media materials as well as their illustration of language in a cultural context.

Reading and recording of paragraph 1 2. Download Audio Files: o Go to https://sites.middlebury.edu/chinese-taiwan-today/ o To download these audio files to your iPod, iTunes or your RSS Reader, do the following: Click on the “download link you find on a page. Find the downloaded file (in your “downloads” folder most likely). Open iTunes. Drag the MP3 file from your downloads folder into iTunes. o These steps will download audio files on this page to iTunes. Plug in your iPod to then add files to it. Tips on Studying Chinese: o Read and follow course schedule closely and keep track of homework deadlines and quiz schedule. o Use class time as STUDY time! Eliminate possible distraction during class time to allow your full and attentive participation. o Work on homework assignment for at least 2 hours three times a week. This means that you should schedule about 6 hours for HW and 2 hours to prepare for the weekly quiz. o Make sure all the required online tools and mobile apps work for you. Ask for help ASAP if you need tech support. o 3^rd-year Chinese is often the last course for our minors. At this level, you will need to be able to READ more in characters, and learn to comprehend more complex texts.
