Generic run attempting to grow ice crystals with the temperature set at -45C and pressure at 100Pa. These were taken on the prismatic surface in order to quantify whether the distance between TPS was a funciton of pressure. (it is not) Image 6-20-11 -39.4C adjoining shows the complex patterns when two ice crystals grow into one another, which usually causes any sort of quantitative work looking at the TPS on one crystal to be useless after the joining. The run has to end or another stand alone crystal must be found.
