Saxifraga nelsoniana ssp. cascadensis

HEART-LEAVED SAXIFRAGE

Saxifragaceae

The basal leaves of Nelson's brook saxifrage are thick and round with single coarse teeth completely around the margin. The leaf bases are heart- or kidney-shaped. The flowers are small and completely white, without spots. Heart-leaved saxifrage is common in crevices and on rocks along streams from middle to high elevations.
