FALSE SOLOMON'S-SEAL False Solomon's-seal is an herbaceous perennial that grows erect or arched, 0.3-1.0 m tall. It has unbranched stems that bear alternate, broadly elliptical leaves 7-20 cm long, in two rows. The small, creamy white flowers are numerous and clustered at the end of the stem. False Solomon's-seal is common in moist forests, streambanks, and meadows at low to subalpine elevations. |
