Sticky cerastium is an introduced European weed, widespread at lower elevations in western Washington. It has opposite hairy leaves and upright hairy stems. The flowers are small with the 5 hairy sepals and the 5 white bifid petals about the same length as the sepals. Sticky cerastium blooms quite early in the spring.
