![]() Sisymbrium officianale Hedge mustard is a large (to 1 m tall), extensively-branched annual herb with lyrate basal leaves and lobed stem leaves. The flowers are pale yellow and small, but produced in great numbers at the tips of the numerous branches. The siliques are stiff and dagger-like, appressed to the stem pointing forward. Hedge mustard is a European weed of roadsides and disturbed ground that is common in the Puget Sound region. |
