OXEYE DAISY

Asteraceae

Oxeye daisy is an introduced perennial with stems 20-80 cm tall. The stems are simple or branch once. The basal leaves are spoon-shaped with rounded teeth and marginal lobes; the stem leaves are alternate oblong and toothed to lobed. The solitary heads, 3-6 cm wide, contain white ray flowers and yellow disk flowers. Oxeye daisy is common in fields, roadsides, and clearings at low to middle elevations.
